doing is different than seeing, you do it wrong, and Mr.Bulltrout will pull your tippet right off.

Good Link NDN.I have forwarded the link to some of my fishing buddies.It always helps to take a little refresher course once in awhile.
The knot that I rely on in most situations is the uniknot.I have only had it come undone once and it was my own fault.I knew I had tied it wrong but took a chance on it holding.
I don't make that mistake anymore.

yep good link. I'm definately gonna try that rapala knot. mine always seem to twist to the side.

yeah i thought you guys might like it, you can see the knot done in video either fast, slow, or click and choose step by step. Best Knot site ive seen in a while

OK, here's the Cole's Notes version.

I am an arborist. I hang off of a rope for a living. If I get my knots wrong I die.

If you compare the knots from all of the different discliplines you can develop your own private custom knots. It works. I do it often.

If you have to learn how to tie and use one knot, it is the bowline and its variations. It is the safest and most multi-faceted knot there is. As a bit of a footnote, the Figure 8 and the Figure 8 follow though are gold also.
