Smokeless loads for .45-60

Hi anybody got recipes for .45-60 and a 300gr. bullet?

From Ken waters Pet Loads use same bullet and between 20-22grs of 2400 powder.[22gr MAX] Form cases from 45-70 brass using FL 45-60 die,trim cases to 1.87" and fire form.Size bullets .456 to .457 use FN bullets only.Hope that helps.

I don't have a recipe but I would do some research with trailboss powder

Be careful which loads you use, a lot of the newer published ones are for shooting in modern Uberti and the like replicas. The originals are NOT near as strong.

Lymans 2 and 3rd edition cast bullet handbook has loads for the originals.
