Smile A wooden stake?

You've got to get closer but you're a tough guy, go with a hardwood stake and a wooden mallet. Works every time!

nice thing about your silver bullets (if you can ever get them cast) is they will take on the look of a black talon sooner or later.
I watched a show once (yup only one and only once)where the guy cast a few silver bullets seems to me there was an issue with the castings and some accuracy issues, not to mention silver near the $40 per ounce mark so practice would be kind of expensive

I think it might be a little difficult for some calibers, as there are molds in both steel or aluminum, because the melting point of silver is higher than lead there may be a bit more involved.

Also, finding a quantity of silver to work with is probably more of a pain then heating and pouring silver.

If you have a quantity of silver in hand, and order or source the molds for the caliber you wish to use, your chances are much more realistic in getting someone to do this for you. So Id suggest sorting out some of these details first.

Also, you might go to a website like zombie squad, there is a reasonable chance you'd manage to sell enough projectiles on a bigger batch/order to pay for your own, though you'd be putting up some money without necessarily any guarantees.

Back to the werewolf thing...

Im not saying such things exist, but look up the michigan dogman, some interesting youtube footage out there, and apparently someone reported something like that out in K country a few months ago.

Again, not saying there is, just find it entertaining.

If unsuccessful or as a temporary measure if you're in a rush or desperate, you could always get a black powder side by side shotgun and put in some chunks of silver.

Trouble is getting pure silver. I don't know if you would want to gamble on 99.9% coins in this situation.

Good grief.....

Just drill a hole in the cheap lead bullet, drop a bit of silver in and put some wax over the hole

You only need a touch of silver to do a werewolf in.....

Obviously, you didn't see Love at First Bite. That's for Vampires.

How much would a taxidermist charge to mount a werewolf anyway? It's probably best to go with the life-sized mount since if you just got the head mounted there'd be no way to tell it's a real werewolf...

Can't do it ...they return to their human state after they die.

Yup. My taxidermist just about had a stroke when he opened the bag and that guy was in it...... called me up all excited

I told him to dump it in the ditch near Ardrossan.

Would have looked pretty cool next to my sasquatch mount tho......

Just load some 12 gauge shells with chunks of chopped up silver, probably much easier than getting silver bullets cast.

Have you ever shot at a coyote and it just kept running? I have, and the only explaination for it is werewolf.
You can buy silver-bearing non-lead solder. It would probably make a pretty good bullet. Non-toxic too.

What calibre or type of bullet are you looking for? This can be done, providing mold and silver availibility. The most importannt question is, how much do you want to spend, to get this done? Send me a PM if you wish.

Melting point of silver is 931 C vs 327 for lead. I dont think my electric melt pot would get that hot, I would have to use a crucible on the old coal forge.
Also I think the common aluminum mold blocks wouldn't handle the temperature very well, you may have to find someone with brass or iron molds.
Silver solder may be the way to go.

This can be done easily, without a steel or brass mold, as long as he wants the finished product to be of an existing bullet.
The most exspensive part will be the silver.

Silver solder has way too high melting temp to feasibly cast, the Silvabrite (low silver percentage lead-free plumbing solder) would be pretty easy though. Have you considered silver electroplating some bullets? Or even both; cast em in Silvabrite and then plate the buggers. Or I also like the shotgun pellet suggestion, maybe tear up the silver tea set you inherited from Grandma Into little chunks and pack them yourself. You can use a grinder with a zip disc to make a few silver shuriken out of the serving tray.

or if its only one werewolf i can hit him at a safe distance while praying, then if he/it gets past that ill have a close in shot .....or walk up and give em the ole double tap ,execution style with the 1911,after saying something cool first

werewolves wont stand a chance now

thanx so much Rman , i was laughing so hard at the overall responses i hadnt even noticed you were serious on taking up my offer, wasnt till i re read it a while later for a laugh that i noticed your reply.
