I would opt for the 308 Sako and the 7mm. They both sound like shooters.

Use the 308 for deer, and the 7mm for moose and elk (especially if you want to put the elk or moose down decisively!)

The 243 is a bit on the light side for deer-sized game. (I know, I know; plenty of deer have bee shot with 243's; but as a cartridge spanning the varmint-deer spectrum, the 243 favours the varmint end of the spectrum more)

Ha Ha ... you will always be my dealer in the snake pit... best...drw... had the 7rm out the other day and ran it up to 70gr of rl22 with 140gr ttsx with no issues ... had .8 groups at 69 and 70 gr ... the l579 groups at 1.7" 180gr with sako peeps at 100m ... all 5 shot groups

243 win h-s precision - slings all things sub moa with 55gr-85gr into .5 or less ... above this to 100gr are sub 1moa- with vxIII 4.5 x 14 x 40 ... 1" tube leupy with butler caps - $3500 all in ... the gun alone is 5-6K from the excited states these days ... 80gr ttsx's @ 3500fps ...
