Default Loved Lakeland Canoe Circuit last week..

With summer quickly slipping away we headed up to Lakeland Canoe Circuit for our first backcountry family adventure! With my new Kevlar Clipper Tripper we can now fit everyone!

The fall colours were on full display and there was hardly a soul around. Couldn't have asked for better weather with close to 20c during the day and 5c at night. Fishing was, as always, spectacular.

What an adventure for the kids, looking at their faces I would say they had a good time!

That looks like a great time thanks for sharing. I have been wanting to do that trip for a few years. How many days did you take to do the circuit?

Sweet new ride.

I usually do the entire circuit but with having the family with me and also with a wet summer decided to stick to the three main lakes.

We took four days, first night on Kinnard, second night Blackett and then back to Kinnard.

Fishing without a depth finder takes some getting used to but once you get an eye for the topography you can begin to pinpoint areas that will hold fish.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great trip full of great memories. I've only ever been to the core lakes, not the on the full circuit. Going to have to make a plan to get out that way again.

Cheers,
