The sky is always falling somewhere. I'm more interested in the changes that might happen next year, esp. for fishing in AB. I have to agree that the future is looking a little bleak.

This isn't due to what is happening here. If you take a trip through south and central America you will be amazed by the large tracts of land that were once jungle, then were deforested for palm trees for palm oil. This wipes out tons of habitat for critters. Better come up with a palm oil tax.

Nothing ! Not A thing is in 326 every tree and lease road a re a disgrace ,the clear cutting that has taken place there and the mess left behind is an utter disgrace to the province and logging industry .
Any game that had been in there has now relocated north and south .

If everyone with high priority were to "use up" their priorities faster than they otherwise would, more of the available tags would be taken up by those applicants leaving fewer tags for applicants with lower priorities and those lower priority applicants would have to wait longer before they would be successful in the draw.In other words, hanging on to one's priority and even increasing it does not take an opportunity away from a lower priority applicant in a given year. It, in effect, creates one which would otherwise not be available.
Pretty straightforward really, if you understand the way our draw system works.
