Default 09 muledeer

Well iv been putting this off for two weeks now haha...

I shot this 4x4 two weekends ago now i believe it would have been, thanx giving the 11th of oct.

was having a rough day hunting missed a buck at 38yards... shot over his back. Then i spotted a few other deer with this guy being the easiest to get. he was bedded infront of a very deep narrow draw in the bottom of a coulee. My hunting partener stayed behind and watched with the spotting scope as i looped around and then with hand signals and lol the wonderful use of silent messageing phones he guided me to the correct draw. A truck had pulled up and spooked some of the deer in which i got a excited reply that a crap load of does got up from their beds and are headed up the draw i was going down. I planted my but down and not 30secs after the message i line of does filed out infront of my and headed to the right. Another message indicated that the does woke up the buck and he was about to head up with them but then came back down and stood where he was first bedded. The last doe came up and i took a risk and hurried down the draw, the group of does headed off right after i spooked them but didnt go back down the coulee. I was about 20yards from to the bottom of the draw when i watched a tow does cross in front of me about 50yards then out of sight i took a few more steps and a small fork buck walked up where the does had walked. The buck i was after was huggin the coulee wall. I got up on a little knole for a vantage point and there walked out broad side. then angle slightly i quick range at 38yards he was quatering away. I drew and and let sail my arrow and watched as it punched through the buck. It wasnt a the best hit, but he went 70 yards and just bleed out pumping out good. Buddy watched the whole thing went and got the pack board and rope while i walked up to the buck as he was down he was still breathing a little so i put another one in him to end it quickly. Pics arnt great took them with the iphone as my camera crapped out and buddy forgot his.

Nice buck munyee, looks like a poper - have you green scored him yet? I'm guessing in the 150's for sure.
