Default New rifles...

I've been toying with the idea of getting either a M1 Garand, Springfield M1A or a M1 Carbine. Unfortunately I don't know if any of these are "Legal". Are they all non-restricted or do they cross over to that horrible I'm instantly going to go on a shooting rampage and kill everyone, Restricted zone? One of the very few things I dislike about canada. THe damn Gun laws!

I've got an M1 Carbine and mine Is non-restricted but most of them are restricted. I'm almost certain the M1 Garands are non restricteed but are getting real hard to find.

How is it then that yours is nonrestricted but most are restricted? I'm just a bit confused on that. I can find Garands in the good ole'USA all over the place... Did you know anything on the M1As? I think a socom would be pretty cool... THanks for the info

Before the law changed who ever had the carbine at the time welded an extra 2 inches to the barrel which makes it 18.5 inches long. You're not allowed to do that anymore.
