Nicely done!
I saw alot of blood on the garage floor.
If you go to Home Depot to the area where the stucco wire is, they sell Stucco mixing trays that are about 4 foot long by 2.5 foot wide and about 8 inches deep. They cost under $20 and are nice and rigid for handling.
Even for washing an animal before cutting, the tubs really help to keep the mess under control in the garage.
To make sure your garage floor doesn't smell, try using Ammonia with water and mopping that on. Leave the doors open for ventilation and re mop a few times as the stains lift. The ammonia destroys the blood and leave the garage floor nice and clean.
Congrats again!

Congratulations on your beautiful moose.
I really love your winch setup on your truck.
Is it possible to take couple of pictures to show how it was installed on that bracket?
Thanks

We use a mop and bucket for general cleaning up then use a dedicated mop with ammonia.

The 5 ton winch comes with cables that connect to a battery which are not long enough so I connect them to jumper cables to reach the trucks battery.

Great story and setup, one question for you, did you reinforce the track from the bottom or screwed right into the frame?

It’s bottom reinforced with 4 - 3/16” thick, 1.5” wide bars that runs the length of each etrack.

Congrats. That is a great setup!
I have a question about your 25-06.
What kind of ammo are you using for moose?
Reloads or factory?
What bullet type and weight?
I’m debating moose hunting with my 25-06 next year and any info is appreciated.

I’m using my reloads, 57.0gn of H1000, Sierra 117gn SBT, 210M primers, WW Super brass and =>0.005 off lands, equals 3188 f/s.

That’s pretty damn fast for a 117 gr bullet.
I’ve been having trouble finding a load that will shoot half decent with the heavier bullets. That’s why I’m debating using it for moose next year.
Ive been messing around with 110 eld-x, 120 partitions, IMR 4831, and RL22. Tried various primers. Only Hornady brass. Varying distances off the lands but nothing closer than 15 thou.
Can’t seem to get the heavier bullets to group. The rifle will shoot less than an inch with any 100 gr bullet and powder.
I’m going to try a few new combos this spring to see if I can’t make something work.
Thanks for the info. It’s much appreciated.

I would try using a slower burning powder, with the 120 partitions try RETUMBO.
