Has anybody tried running two fishfinders on the same boat at the same time? Will it work? Will the interfere with each other?
One is a high pwer 1500 watts and the other is only 600 watts but has a gps i like.

The wattage is not the issue, the sonar frequency is. If both are of say a 192 khz frequency, then at around 30 feet in depth (on a 20 foot boat) the sonar cones will cross and you will get interference. If you have one running off a bow mount and that has a transducer with 200 khz, then you are fine if your back one is a 192, and won't interfere. Some units have dual frequency transducers too. You will have to get the specs on each unit and see what frequency the transducers you have are, and you might only need to get a different transducer.
