Default CO2 tank refills

Does anyone know of a good place in Edmonton to get a CO2 tank (5lb) refilled? I've hacked my Sodastream to use the larger tank, and used to go to Oxypro, but they've hiked their prices substantially so am looking for alternatives.

Thanks!

I honestly don't think you will find a better price as all of the gas suppliers have been bought out by Linde or Praxair ( I cant remember which right now). If you made an adapter for your tank you might be able to get a paintball field to fill it but I don't know what the prices are now.

You might try KMS Tools.

CO2crew.com is a small outfit that offers beverage grade CO2. Not sure of prices, this is not a recommendation as I don’t really know them, but they have a following among some homebrewers in Edmonton.

The monopoly is getting set up for consolidation. Oxygen, acetylene, argon ...probably all gases... so expect to pay the piper

Go to a bottler.
I get mine from red deer bottling (coca cola)
Pay the deposit on the bottle, and exchange it as needed.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looked up bottlers in Edmonton and found these guys. A lot better price than the big names, so will definitely pay them a visit next time.
