perch fishing in the summer

hi i know i am thinking ahead abit but where is a good place to catch perch on lac des isles have been going there for 17 years straight now to northern cross beautiful campground and lake, we hit the perch along time ago in rangers bay but never ever found them again after that any tips? thanks
