Default A Gentle Reminder of the Purpose of Alberta Outdoorsmen

The forum has been getting pretty stupid lately. Here is a reminder of what the purpose of this forum is. It came from DMcrobb12.

Feel free to add your own single picture which tells an outdoor story via image.

No words.

No stupidity.

Just an outdoor pic loaded with meaning.

Went digging for these.

First year moose hunting. My buddies grandfather hunted this area about 20 years ago, that was our scouting.

Got up Saturday, atv scouted some spots on Sunday. Hit the bush on Monday.

Shot at a cow moose that came into a clearing with 2 bulls from on Tuesday afternoon at 4 30. Saw it go down and back up but couldnt decipher which one was the cow when they retreated into the taller brush on edge with the 6x leupold. Looked massive and so close compared to deer... but obviously was further than expected.

On trail at daylight Wednesday, tracked blood and footprints over higher ground. Around 11am crest a hill and there she is standing, about 10 yards away.

Not the best initial shot, but a great hunt, an amazing tracking experience that got us all involved and a great learning experience.

To the OP, thank you for starting this wonderful thread. I can't recall a better thread ever in my time on AO.

I must learn how to post pictures and share my own.

Thanks again for this thread.
