Hog hunting in Alberta

Hi. I am looking to go hog hunting in the next couple years. Just wondering how many in alberta and where they seem to be located. I dont really want to go through a guide company.

In short, there are few hogs here and those who know of locations won't share. Most hunters never hunted a wild one in AB.

There aren't enough to go around. You may get lucky finding them or having someone point them out, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

I have seen most of every wild animal around here at one point or another. With exception to the wolverine and hog. Its a pipe dream of mine to come across one. Good luck!
