Default Re-Canvas Ice Fishing Tent?

Hi All, I am hoping a fellow A/O member can help me out. I recently had the zipper blow up on one of my single man ice fishing tents. It is one of the ones with the hard plastic top and hard plastic bottom (can be used as a sled when walking onto lakes). Everywhere I have been has told me that they would have to remove the canvas to repair the zipper but I'm afraid that if I remove the staples, the canvas will disintegrate. I really enjoy this style of ice fishing shed and can't seem to find anything new like it. Would anyone happen to know a place in or near Edmonton that would re-canvas and install a new zipper on an ice fishing tent frame? Thanks in advance!!

Not sure of your set up but what I had done on a previously zipper replacement was cut right next to the zipper to remove it and then have the new zipper sowen onto the old zipper material

If you’re worried about the quality of your canvas maybe a place like Edmonton tent an awning could make you a complete new tent to install in place if your existing one.
