Default Man caves/Trophy room

Hey there guys we just closed on a new home and I have a new bonus room that I am turning into a "man cave" / trophy room and I have seen some great ones on here. I was hoping that some of you could post or repost some pictures of your rooms. I am looking for some ideas on colours and stuff like that. Thanks
Ty

I don't have pictures but I used old barn wood for paneling and it came out very rustic and cool. I aways liked barnwood and if you can get a small franklin or some type of wood stove to accent it. Have fun.

"colours and stuff"? IT'S A MAN CAVE!!!!!!!!

The only acceptable wall covering for a man cave is white paint or wood panelling. Period. Sheesh. You were looking for ecru in eggshell latex????? Oh yeah, and put up a picture of Don Cherry somewhere conspicuous. LOL

Anyway, good luck with it!

I've got a huge Gonza hood scoop from a racer that would look great in a man-cave.
I need the room on my bench for reloading soon.

It is an textured paint type coating. I got it from Home Hardware. The design can be whatever you want it to be, you just apply masking tape to wherever you want a reveal in the top coating.

It worked good, but don't listen to the hardware store people on how to do it. Having now done it once, i would do it a differently and it would have turned out even better and took less time.

I figured this cost me about $2/sqft. If you ever use this stuff let me know and i would be happy to tell you my lessons learned. Another good thing about it, is if you decide you ever want to do a different flooring, you can just place it over top. Well at least for hardwood, or carpet type stuff.

Actually.....the white is called 'Whispering Cloud' in eggshell, of course, and the dark grey is 'Molding Clay Slate' in Matte......

Two of my brothers have pretty kick-***** trophy rooms, hopefully they will post too....

A big trophy room has been a dream for my brothers and i since i can remember....They are a lot of fun, because there is no end to the changes you can make, they are always a work in progress, especially after every pull of the trigger. It always helps having a father that is a taxidermist!!

I didn't see the big ram you got last year in there. What kind of mount are you doing with it?

Thumbs up

Tackleberry, it's perfect! There's even a box of pizza!

Flydguy, that's a great looking room, too. Looks like you've got a challenging job figuring out how to get all those trophies hung though!

Oh yeah, flyguy, you really should be ashamed!

Very nice room, I only wish I could have a room just for "the outdoors"! Nice.

Here are some photos of my new one. We moved into a new house this past summer so I had to start over on mine. It is currently a work in progress. Need to update a few things, including doors, trim and baseboards as well as update the laminate in the TV area to something nicer. Probably modernize the bar a little bit. I am getting the office downstairs in shape right now so no photos of it at the moment.
