Congrats on your sheep. Any sheep is a trophy in my eyes...
Can you tell us little more about your equipment? What kind of tent, gaiters backpacks and stove were you boys using?

Thanks, most of the issues we had were more weather realated, tent seams leaked with heavy wet snow on it. (Kelty expidition) gators were O.R. They are great but they have been beat up on a number of trips now. And the Velcro won't close that well anymore and again the wet snow pulled them open and they would fall off. Pain in the butt! Stove is an msr dragon fly. Pump didn't want to pump air in when it was cold so you would have to warm it up in order to use it. Just a bit of a pain as sometimes you just want things to work with out jerking around.

Great! Thank you for sharing you gear experience. It's always good to know what works and what doesn't work.
Once again congrats

2 days of packing that sheep will defietly make every ounce taste that much better!
Cool, I can understand that.

First time I've heard of an MSR pump failure in the cold. Can you give more detail, please? Does it work well now that you're back home?

Old worn out unit? Newer, faulty unit?

Having your stove go down could be a real issue in bad weather...
