Default First Blood 2014
Left home a 9am and quit hunting at 11am

saw one at 11:05 C & R him as I had my limit

Warming up for hunting season took me 6 shots feathers on that one though all free hand

Beautiful day for this Old Guy

enjoy your hunting season all!!!!

Ready too go Sept 17

Well Done. I didn't see any in the 2 hours I hunted for grouse. Maybe I should have went to 438.

Congrats speckles. Did some walking with another member today in 3 different spots and didn't see any.

As a new hunter I am always trying to listen for prey. I know the drumming of the ruffed grouse, but can anyone point me to recordings of other grouse sounds?
