Default Elk calls

I'm looking to buy a diaphragm call in preparation for a possible first elk hunt next year. What is a good call to learn on and what are good training aids (videos/articles)

Be prepared to buy a few (read several). Find one that works for you. Also often it helps to trim them a bit to make the for your mouth better.

I prefer the Carlton calls my self. I like the triple and the cow/calf double!

Diaphragm calls are personal because it depends on how they fit your mouth, but I like the promos calls. Specifically the hyper plate double for cow calls and the ivory plate single for bugles.
