Default Slave Lave

I'm gonna be heading to Slave with my kids. Never been there before. Where is a good place for a first timer to get his feet wet? "not literally".

Heading up from Whitecourt through Swan Hills if that makes a difference.

Anywhere out that way is ok, you can get on at Drift pile, Canyon Creek, Jussard, wide water. All have produced for us before, you'll see all of the shacks, so you'll have an idea where to start!🎣. Good luck 😁

I'm mostly looking for access points. So your info is perfect. Thanks.

I’d head on at Canyon Creek or Jussard, usually a good trail going out to the shacks. Driftpile reserve used to charge a fee to access lake there, not sure if that’s still the case. Set up between the shacks and have fun with the kids!
