*snicker*...amazing! lol.

Hey Jay, are you streaming your media? What are you using?
We used to use the PS3, but after two "YLOD" failures, we've switched to the Western Digital "WD TV Live" box. Only $100 and can stream all of our media from any computer in the house. Movies, Music, Photos. Love it.

Plays any file including MKV blu-ray files.

Any troubles with the box? Is it pretty user friendly? The wife needs something that is easy to use. I use my PS3 also, but lately I'm having troubles with the program recognizing the PS3. Also, Im going from stable high speed internet to rural internet (CCI wireless). Don't know if that will make a difference or not.

Umm...well if you're able to figure out how to stream from a PS3, then you'll figure this out no problem.
The ONLY thing I've found, is that when I first start it up after it's been sitting (sleep mode? I never turn it off) it seems to not move...like the remote isn't working..but after a few minutes, then it works fine.

Your internet connection won't affect it at all. It operates wirelessly off your own network. It also has Netflix and all kinds of other "pay-for-view" services, but I only use it to stream media that I've downloaded onto my computer.

Nope, not streaming. Biggest TV in this house is about a 21" CRT with a built in VCR

That being said, my computer is in a good spot for viewing, so I just play them on the computer monitor with a decent set of speakers. Not at all fancy, but adequate for our viewing habits

Try some HBO series like Californicaton, Dexter, Walking Dead, they should keep you busy for an hour or so...

The Godfather
West Side Story

Both movies are richly textured and can be enjoyed repeatedly.

40 year old virgin-may be the funniest movie ever made
Saving Private Ryan
The Big Red One
A League of Their Own
Step Brothers
Old School
Snatch
Lord of the Rings-all three
There's Something About Mary
Zombieland
Fido
L.A. Confidential
The Guardian
What Happens in Vegas
The Dictator-caution, very politically incorrect

T.V. Shows

The Sopranos-best show ever on tv
The Walking Dead
Life
M*A*S*H

That's a pretty wide scope of movies/tv off the top of my head. Netflix is great, $8 month and they have all kinds of movies and t.v. shows.
