Fishing in / around ft mcmurray

Im sure this has been herd before but here it goes anyways, Just moved to Ft Mcmurray and im curious about the fishing around the area any good lakes / stretches of river? Looking for areas more easily accessed by truck / on foot. Me and the misses looking to for something to do on the weekends. Not big into fly fishing so looking for basics spin cast with spoons jigs ect. Any input appreciated. Thanks
