They like the insulation,not sure if they eat it or what but they can strip the tin and tape pretty easy.

I'm thinking it's more the bugs caught up inside the insulation they are attracted to. We now use the brown insulation and seems less of an object for the birds and bears to rip at then he black stuff.

Nice. I used to have a pic of a black bear walking across the tops of hopper cars on a train. Gotta try find it
