Default South Buck

Thinking about heading to south buck this saturday. Has anyone been out there this year? how is the perch population? Also, I have never been there so if anyone can advise me on the best access to the lake that would be good. Any idea on ice thickness, I am considering taking a quad. Thanks in advance

Just spent the last 4 days at the in laws out there. Ice was 12" everywhere i drilled a hole. Didnt fish too much and saw only a handful on my new cam but did manage to catch 1 nice sized perch. Good luck
