There are a couple of Bulls that will be good in this group. Best part is come hunting season they will be hard to find because they move about 5-7 miles from here.

Ram,

What are you using to get these photos? Zoom on a camera or spotting scope of some kind?

Great pictures!

man, All the bulls I have showing up on cam still just have little crown like racks. Tons of fawns and calves though.

How are you guys finding antler growth this year? from what im seeing on my cams they are way behind last year.

The pics are taken anywhere from 50yrds to 250yrds. so just a cellphone and the spotting scope at 20 power works great. The scope, tripod and cellphone is light and easy to carry.

You might be hard pressed getting anywhere down there , they just had a 2900 hectare fire down there on the Pinhorn. Guys might frown upon you going on the land with it being so dry.

Ya I heard about that. Might have to wait until we get some moisture. Hopefully sooner than later.

The boy and I went to yet another area after work and found some more elk. We are finding elk everywhere this year. The only problem last night was the heatwaves were brutal and this was the best pic we could get as it is super hot out and dry.
