I need help hunting zone 999 (An AOF parody)
I put in for Moose, Elk and Mule deer draws in zone 999, and I got them all. Where is zone 999? I need help finding all these animals too. I would prefer if a local could just pick me up and take me hunting there, I don't want to chance not filling my tag. Oh, make sure you have a winch on your truck, I'm not able to drag or help load the animal due to a sore back. If you could just deliver it to the nearest butcher shop I'll pick it up with my smart car once cut and wrapped. What size of gun should I bring? If you have a spare already sited in, maybe I could just borrow it? does it kick much?

Will you be using some of your tags from last year? Because once you fill this years tags I know a good place in zone 888 and 777 that we could fill last years tags.

Obviously a phoney. If this were real you would be posting this the week before the season started.

I have a question about zone 999. I was also drawn for elk there as I have family with a ton of land there. So, if no one on AO can pinpoint a herd for me there, should I ask my family members about hunting there? I think it's posted though, as I have seen many signs there saying No Spray. I assume they don't want a ton of lead flying through their field.

WMU 999 is a grazing lease. Don't worry about permission or talking to the rancher, just giv'er.

Thanks gitrdun, but I've done the grazing lease thing. Last 2 summers I've taken a few cows there ( mostly red Angus, under the authority of my "special" card). What I'm really looking for is a decent 7x7 elk. Need a good set of rattling horns for whitetail season.

Oh man you got the Angus tag, that must of been a lucky draw! I have been hunting 999 for a while now. Seem to get super lucky with that WMU

Dunno why you clowns try for zone 999 every year, the place has got nothing but rag horns and spiker white tails - just take a general tag out and hunt the edge 0f 248 , you'll do fine - don't forget your pool noodle though, sometimes you need to get in and out fast........

My family has some pretty sweet property in 999.
I would love to have you come hunt our land, but we only give access guys who are bringing out their 85 year old grandpa for one last hunt.

999 is very crowded. It's the WMU for Porcupine Hills, isn't it?

Oh! I see. Now I know where those missing Angus are at, no problem since you had a "card". Was that your quad we picked up on the lease? No problem, we cleaned it up and serviced it for 'ya. We'll deliver it as soon as time permits.

I wouldn't let Cat hunt my 999 property. Have you experienced his typing? If that the same fingers he uses to work a trigger, it could be a disaster.

no worries, that is why I use an 8 gauge shotgun - had to cut the barrels down however for ease of getting it out the window!

999 is actually 666 in disguise, only Satan's followers are allowed to hunt there.

Never apply for 999, there is way too much competition in that wmu.

I know this zone very well. Game is most plentiful on the east side of Zipperlip Creek.

Not much left for game in 999. I'm sure it has to be all the wild horses. There should be a season for them. See 200 on the road every time I'm out there, got charged by 6 different horses in one day last time out
