Default SouthernAlberta Mule deer giant

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a giant nontypical mule deer that supposedly scores more than 250 taken in the Bow Island area, there is a scouting video on youtube of a really wide nontypical, the title of the video poster says "grassy farm" Im gussing maybe Grassy Lake? Whats the word?

Well there was one taken a few years ago that was allegedly poached. Guy apparently thought 8" exit wounds were normal.

there have been some pretty wild rumors about this thing. it is dead and i have seen pics. its very wide and a real nice buck, but it aint 250. i could see 230 gross easy enough though. i have also heard rumors that the guy is getting over 100 000 beans for the video and story. im pretty sure noone believes that. it is a real good buck though, and congrats to JV, the guy who got it.

i have hunted gophers with the guy that shot the buck and i have only seen pictures. it is around 36'' wide and just amazing, supposed to be on a TV show sometime soon and also in some magazines. He said he is getting recreations done on it and when they are done we will see more of this deer.

i guess some guys might. when my story was printed in big buck magazine i told garry donald to go ahead and take whatever he felt the article was worth and donate it to the saskatchewan wildlife federation. i got a thank you card from them, but it didnt say the amount and honestly i have no idea how much it was.

The reason why its low key is the guy that shot this deer gave his word to some people and he's doing what he was told to do. Don't try to make him out to be some kind of a bad guy.

I don't know if this is the same deer everyone is talking about ,but a nontyp. gross scoring 217was taken in AB., last fall thatwon the AFGA competition ... it is featured in the magazine " Muley Crazy" .. doesn't say where in the province it was taken.. one heck of a nice deer but if it is the one in question it isn't as big as we have been led to believe...

The hunters name in the article is", Craig Temple", deer is 29 " wide and 7x8, sounds like a totally different show to me... like I say it doesn't say where this particular buck was taken..

I heard the guy is from the HAT and that he guides .He hunted the buck for a few days just waiting for the right time to get the shot with his bow.Heard the buck is going to be in the Eastman Magazine. He and his friend watched the buck for awhile until it was time to go after him.
