General tag for mule doe...?

Just checking up on something. I was drawn for Mule doe in 230, and Judy wondering which tag I need. Does a genera tag qualify towards my doe?

No you need to purchase your antlerless mule deer special licence which is specific for the wmu if you wish to hunt for that animal in the draw season. The general tag is either sex during the general archery season.

In order to rifle hunt your mulie doe you need to purchase your antlerless mule deer special license. If you also wish to bow hunt you can also buy a general mule deer tag and an archery license and use the general tag for either a buck or a doe. In other words you could shoot two does this year.

You can buy a general mulie tag as well. You just can't use it for rifle hunting in WMU 230 as it has no general mule deer rifle season.

Now if you had drawn an ANTLERED mule deer tag that would be it. Couldn't purchase a general tag.
