Default Waterfowl Hunting Picture Thread

Just a couple pictures, weather has been cooperating, but no frost for us yet.

It's my favorite time of the year.

Copper and Gord.

Three limits.

Sunrise with a coffee and gun smoke.

How is your waterfowl season? Where's Arn? He's probably too busy shootin' to be postin'.

If you have waterfowl pictures, lets get a picture thread going. Post them up!

Is that green head from this year? Shot a lot of mallards lately and haven't seen any colored up that nicely yet! Wont be long now until you can pick the green out of the flocks

Great pics TFG.

Would love to get out for my first bird hunt, maybe this year.

Deer huntin' isn't looking so good for me this year, so living vicariously through you guys.

Yep, we have seen several with the green starting. The one in the picture is almost completely green, about 90% of the way there.

There sure are a lot of birds this year!!

Good lookin' bird dog bp85! Another legend in the making!

Gord has been working with Copper since he was a pup. Now Lil' C is a tank, and, while still having his nuts, tends to hunt on Copper's time and plan - not so much pay attention to the commands from the big guy. But he's come a long way, and is a really great bird dog.

But from time to time, when Copper takes off with a bird, it can be heard the big guy growl: "**** you Copper."

Always makes me howl. Still a helluva bird dog, who absolutely lives to hunt to the point he also will bust our balls if we all miss an easy shot on a fly by. He'll start whining as we all watch the bird evade us after we all missed him. Never thought a dog would be that disappointed in us!

Default Frank Lake

I'm still very new to waterfowl hunting, we came up empty handed but my pup had a blast. There was a few birds flying nothing came in shooting range though. Still learning, hopefully I'll get the hang of it.

Couple of early season limits. Was surprised to see the specks and little cacklers as there hasnt been much for bird migration in my area. Havent seen or heard specks since that morning so not even sure where they went.
