General mulie tag

Ok very stupid question, first real bowhunting trip and don't wanna screw up
I am going bowhunting today and I grabbed a general mule deer tag, bow liscence and wildlife cert! Does the general tag mean I can shoot buck or doe?

In some southern zones they have only antlerless mulie open right now for archery, bucks don't open until october. I haven't confirmed that this year but in the past it has been like that. 130,128 are two zones that were staggered.

In the zone that I usualy hunt mulies does can not be shot on a general tag.

Like someone mentioned check out the regs it is safer that way. Read them over good. Look in the 200's section.

x2 on checking regs!!

I know the zones up north are now into rifle season so a General Mulie tag is only good in the "Green Zone" WMU's as all the others will be the "Draw Tag" now.

There are many, many "green zone" WMUs that have antlered mule deer on draw.

Check those regs people!
