Default Fawn distress call?

I have heard from many that a fawn in distress call will bring a doe in running. also predators. Do they work that good?

I have a couple that work well and one that is deadly. I've called hundreds of mulies and wt with it. Along with the usual predators.

I was hunting mule deer in the bush and every time I jumped some I would pull out my deer call (Deer talk/ Fawn distress) and call. They would stop and often come back. It got to the point where i kept the call in my glove so I could get at it faster. Bucks would stop as well as does.

I was hunting deer and saw some wolves in a cut-block chasing some white-tails. I pulled out my Deer talk call and gave some fawn distress calls. Two wolves came running to me and I got them both.

They work!

Fawn in distress calls work great, especially for muley does. I use them all the time when hunting my antlerless muleys with the bow. Brings in coyotes quite well also. It will also work well in the rut. Bring in the muley does and often there will be a buck behind.

This guy came in for a buddy with a doe I called in with a fawn in distress call.

Default How to skin a wolf

I would love to get a wolf rug made up when I finally shoot a nice one.

A. How much does it roughly cost to get a wolf rug made

B. How do you go about skinning a wolf if you want a rug made out of it? Any sites one would recommend?

thanks,

No specific brand, but pretty well any open reed predator call will let you make the fawn in distress as well as other distress calls for predators.

This call is really good if your not sure what a fawn bleat sounds like. It has a movable ring on the sound board and can make a few different sounds has good instructions. Once you get to know what you want for a sound any open reed call will do it, just takes practice. This call though is a good jump in place though. The hot dog howler is another call I used a lot before I lost a piece, now I just buy tone boards bulk and don't even use a horn.
