Work sent me to Whitecourt last week and there were lots of tracks on it where 43 crosses it. Didn't look soft last Monday. Been pretty warm so I would expect some pucker moments.

I haven't been on it this winter but it was really low last fall. With not a huge snow cover I would watch for rocks and open spots.

Last weekend there were open spots where the water is shallow and flowing. I would not recommend it.
