got a m&p 45 and it shoots on target at 70 yards after a few shots it starts to wonder is it the ammo or these handguns just like that?

70 yards with an auto handgun? Try it at 15 for groups!

I have the same gun. its a great gun but the trigger is a little heavy. I have about 2 thousand rounds through mine and never had wandering shots but depending on the powder i loaded i had to clean it every 30 or 40 rounds(using a bore snake) otherwise it would jam. I also never got very consistent with it til after about 1000 rnds, technique is important. It was explained best to me by a guy at pheonix gun range "that round is meant to take out a man sized target at 20 yards"is what he said, 70 yards is a long shot if that's what your goal is you might want to try a long barrel revolver.
