Default Message to Alberta Fisheries Bio's - Rivers

I hope those you who need to finally get it. You snuck a fast one by us all on the Pembina River closed . You tried again this time to close more rivers but fortunately common sense prevailed an enough of us all stood up and said NO.
Oh I get the fact that you want the fish numbers to rebound ..we all do but you can't blame fisherman for the declining numbers. Without having a clear plan in place to deal with habitat degradation from Oil and Gas , mining , Forestry and other recreational users then just targeting fisherman was wrong .
And of course you never had the money to deal with all the issues whether its culverts , poaching ect.. So if you want anglers to be a part of this restoration concept than make us a part of the entire equation instead of targeting us as the cause of the problem . We all know decline fish stocks are really the result of poor environmental management of our waterways for many years.
