Does anyone know anything about the George Lake located between Busby and Lac La Nonne off Hwy 651? Have there been fish ever?

I've been told by my buddy who's lived here all his life that it's too shallow. He says there's never been fish in it. Also never seen anyone fish it summer or winter

It's only a lake by name and is basically just a big slough. There are no fish in there. Keep driving to Lac LaNonne......lol.

Yea, I just moved about 3mins out from Nonne. Been out there quite a bit this winter, just pass George everyday to work and was always curious. Looks like a good waterfowl spot
