If you do use Loctite, use the green or blue, not the red as you will never get the carb off again.

Not mandatory but I give almost any bolt thats subject to vibration a shot of blue loctite just as a precaution.

The two bolts holding the carb on had a blue colored substance on the bottom of each bolt.
