HEY! Come on now. Chris Hill is a respected scientist who doubts the effects of CO2 on global warming and has come up with a very reasonable alternate theory. Danielle Smith quoted him numerous times during the campaign.

I have never thought much of the old saying "you can't fix stupid".
When I read the title of this thread I thought I'd reply that often the problem is ignorance and you can fix ignorance with education.
But as with all things there are exceptions.

I dunno...why folks think this is funny.
Drought is bad business for Ag folks and outdoorsmen.
That extra hour works out to an extra 4.16% sunlight per day and depending on what part of the day you stick it in... it really could make a difference.
I think we should take another look at daylight savings time to.
Maybe we should try to figure out if we can halt the damage caused by shifting that extra time over to the night and having shorter days in summer.
That would probably reduce the evaporation a bit and if it works well we could maybe move another hour over to help reverse global warming.

Maybe up here in Alberta, Canada the daylight saving dosent cause drought but down in my native country of AUSTRALIA, who knows what the daylight saving hours are doing to the waters around Albury or maybe just the pond in Chris's backyard, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation should definatly investigate. LOL

See?
It's a global problem.
We should all flip our calenders back a couple decades so we have more time to study this serious issue and respond...before it's too late!!!

If we moved the sun from its regular setting of 93 million miles away out to 109 million we could drop the mean average year round temperature by 3 degrees, then we bump up daylight savings time by 2 hours a day. With the sun farther away the evaporation of moisture rate decreases and growing seasons increase, don't know why nobody thought of it sooner.

he cold be right.
This guy is into something. We should use our watches like thermostats. If enough people do it, it can work. When the climate is warming, cut down on daylight, if it is to cold, turn watches the other way. I think he should get a government money to develop his technology.
