Giant meteor shower expected tonight
At 11 pm Calgary time astronomers are saying this could be a big one. Comes from a comet that broke up 25 years ago.

Seems like 10:30 pm to 1 am is the window.
1000 meteors per hour is a huge number.
Good article

I'm going to try and stay up, but it might be an uphill battle.

Sorry to pee on your parades but there's been a last minute change in scheduling. Trudeau has now added meteors to his ban list.

Calgary skies are way clearer than this morning. Fingers crossed we can see something.

Didn't see anything in the sky but caught a couple great shots of the lake by my place. Edit: Really not sure why they uploaded so blurry, I took these with my Pixel 6's 4K camera, it works great.

I've read five articles about this online, one in an actual newspaper and just now read about it here. Not one of those places mentions what part of the sky I should be looking. North? South? East? West? Low in the horizon? straight up?
