I'm on a quarter in Bearspaw 15 minutes from my front door in Silver Springs. Very sweet.

Kale, it just takes leg work man. Work the outer perimeters of the zone for the best results. Just go out and door knock in the spring looking for permission to blast some gophers. Develop some releationships and go from there.

I always try and have my business cards at the ready with my home number, my cell number, vehical description and plate number on the back. Also, if you get a permission, get the landowner's number and always give a quick call beforehand. Often, you will not be the only person on their land, and they want a degree of control over it. I always try to reserve the last 4 days of November exclusively on my little piece. Ya just gotta be smart about it. Good luck!

NOt too sure but I think that is pretty close to a lost casue. I have tried many time the advice that most have said. Doesnt seem to work very well. I live along the northern boarder of this and not many gus seems to want hunters around. I guess they wnat the game fro themselves (totally understand) or they do wnat hunters. I guess both are reasonable. To bad for the rest of us.
