You can't drive to the Wapiabi Gap. There used to be a quad trail but that has been closed for many years. You can drive to the upper Wapiabi River and then hike to the Gap by following the river or by walking on the quad trail.

The road should be fine.

the south chungo is good till km 19 this is where the wash out is at, it is still passable it is just pretty skinny. it is signed and flagged well so you wont end up in the hole. the road to the blackstone gap is also washed out about a km from the gap, this one is passable if you are really brave as it is even skinnier

Can you fill me in as to "road to blackstone gap". I was on the chungo road last week at km 19 and its real skinny quad or jeep passible and thats it, but if you look down the bank from the wash there is a road built down there I just dont know where to get to that road. Not that I have any need to go any further up the chungo road. Bhe road to the blackstone gap I dont quite know what you are talking about?

The road is blocked up the hill from the blackstone campground
