Default Fishing gloves

As the rain falls and I stare at my fishing gear I yearn for fishing but alas I'm without a vehicle even I wanted to fish. But the rain got me thinking that if I did go I don't have a pair of gloves that are right to allow some protection from the wetness but still allow me clean casting ability and feel of rod/line. So just curious what gloves some anglers use in these situations and what some recommendations are. This would just be for spring/summer/fall rain fishing adventures. Got ice fishing gloves covered thanks to my employer's stock of dandy insulated waterproof gloves. Tried them in a rainy situation last spring no good too bulky no feel and the line snagged when I was casting due to some of the layering stitches. So yah just curious what you guys might use.

Wool fingerless with pull over for the fingers. Or good fitting neoprene gloves.

I just fish with wet hands.

Keep a few rags in the truck to dry off if it's real bad.
