Default Newest Bow - Interesting Camo!!!

The newest mistress to the harem is my new 2015 APA NANO
she is donning the New Soft touch Camo in "Digital Camo"

I strayed away from my signature Winter Mimicry Camo just to try this new pattern...

I bow hunt Elk, Mule deer, whitetail, bear and even Moose in our mid west poplar tree woodlands

I thought I would give it a try to see how it blends into the poplar trees and willows!!
I was pleasently surprized with the results...

Both in the direct sunlight and shadows it blended in perfect...even in snow...its going to be great on foot, blinds, and stands....

Absolutely an all season camo...Im very happy with it

lol yup...Bonus is its such a smooth draw, best wall yet...and a absolute tack driver...going to be a dilemma come hunting season between her and my trusty APA AIR....!!!

The AIR disappered in the snow in her Winter Mimicry...now the NANO...I have a bad habit of hanging bows in the poplars ...Ha Ha!

Greys, tans, and "puke" or "canned pea" greens are all very versatile colour choices for camo almost anywhere. Digital patterns are proven time and again.

I saw that new finish and I liked the feel of it. I was curious how cold that bow get compared to the old finish or other metal riser bows? Is it any milder to hold at -10 like the carbon bows are or is it about the same?

It is noticibly warmer to the grip and touch...the older riser would "conduct" the cold whereas the new Soft touch seems to insulate it...

feels much warmer on grip...

Thats a nice finish.

Does apa put that soft touch digital finish on other bows or just their own?

I would love to send my bow away to get it done in that finish

Funny thing, when we were at the show last weekend, I attempted to sneak into the APA demo booth - IncrediGirl was incredibly skillful at herding me away from there.

Smart girl.

Neil, I am wondering if you happen to know the mass weight of that APA bow, without the additions?

Only 3.9 Lbs...light but well balanced...if too light for some shooters a stabilizer with switch out weight mods makes it perfect...mine with the 3" Axion and ultra light HS stabilizer insert is truly perfect...
