Default Boating in Spray Lakes question

For those of you who have taken your boat to Spray Lakes, have you come in from the Canmore side? If so, how is pulling the boat up the switch backs like? I'm considering chasing some lakers this weekend.

Depends on how long ago they graded the road. Can be a lot of ruts but you have to take it slow no matter what.

Take it slow because the rocks can put a beating on your boat if you are not careful.

I was down that road last weekend. I would avoid it. Its a washboard the whole way up and a bit over the pass. It sucked just driving my vehicle on it.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. Guess I’ll hit up the prairie reservoirs since the wind has died down.
