Keeleclimber,
I will have a large bottle waiting in Reno!

Here is some great pictures of my brother-in-laws Rocky hunt in 2007. He was able to draw a Salmon River tag in our home state. I unfortunately missed the hunt. I was on my first Stone hunt. After shooting at the ram they lost sight of him. He was pretty sure he hit the ram good. They were glassing for the ram when my sister spotted the ram hanging from the tree by his horns. The pictures tell the story of the events that took place getting the ram out.

All I can say is wow, L2HS! Break out the technical rock climbing gear.

Some people will pay money to go rock climbing and white water rafting. You guys got to do it just to retrieve a sheep. Looks like quite the adventure!

Thanks for sharing.

Yup, that could be one of the nastiest places I've ever seen a sheep come to rest!

Sorry if I **** anyone off for replying to a thread as old as this but I have been looking at old sheep threads to do some reading and get some information on gear and so on and this is by far the coolest sheep thread I have ever seen. There are some pure giants on here and some beautiful looking rams. I need to win the dang lottery or something so I can get a slam on something.
Hands down the best thread.
Whe are these sheep shows and stuff cuz I need to go and meet some of these people?

Good guess; the bases were right at 15 1/2"; probably at 15" now.
The ram is 12 1/2 years old, and the cape was crappy( brittle). Have been searching since for a fall/winter Cadomin cape; I won't go west and shoot a just legal ram for a cape as it wouldn't look right; as you know those Cadomin rams have black capes.
My ram scored just over 193" when fresh, probably high 180's now. We were lucky that day as we had 5 rams of that calibre at 80 yards; the guy with me shot the next best ram that went 186".
