Default random camping near Drayton Valley

Any good spots I can tow my 25' trailer for the weekend around Drayton Valley? No campgrounds. I'm not familiar with crown camping in this area. Thanks!

It is extremely wet in that area right now. We camped at Kayson RV on July long weekend and the ground was soggy like a sponge even in the grass. You would walk on the grass and the mud would squish up around your shoes/sandals. Kids and dog were constantly covered in mud. Talking to some locals who rode dirt bikes around the gun range to the bridge that area is even worse and can’t even get to some crown places along the river to camp. With the rain in forecast for the area for the next couple days I can’t see it being any better. But good luck.

Greatwest is right. Any side/gravel roads and crown land roads around Drayton and Brazeau are going to be soft and pure muck if it rains more. Stick close to pavement with a trailer.

10-20mm of rain forecast for tomorrow, DV and area isn’t where you’d want to go random camping this coming weekend.
