Wolverine sports in Gasoline Alley I believe still have a range upstairs, however the pro shop is no more. Also hear good things about the archery club in Springbrook out by the airport. I think the Red Deer Archery Center is still open were the old All Sports Replay use to be behind Superstore. Shady in that area with all the local crackheads lingering around due to a soup kitchen and safe injection site though...

Thanks guys.
Hopefully someone will see the void of no lanes and no good pro shop before winter sets in and opens a new shop. Tough business to be in but some make a go of it. Porcupine Creek in Lethbridge was around for 20 years or so. Creel and quiver in High River was around for 10 yrs or there abouts. It's all about service and inventory also a lot of hard work. Look at the Fishin' Hole . Here since the late 70's and on it's 3rd owner.

One of the toughest things is competition from the internet. Many people would go to the shops to shoot but buy their gear online. Jim bows has been solid but look at trophy book can’t run a business on shooting lanes. Another big hit to the shops was manufactures selling out to big box stores.

Archers in RD just didn't realize how good they had it. John and Pat (Red Deer Archery Center) and than Pat after John passed away, treated us all pretty good. Central Alberta Archers Ass. elected a board that basically drove Pat out of business. They had been renting the proshop space to Pat. They then had Wolverine set up shop at the same lanes. They lasted maybe 6 months and closed their shop. Now we have nothing, not even sure if the CAAA is still functioning.

Thanks guys!
