Default Propane heater

An issue maybe someone can help me with. I have a propane heater that i heat the garage with fire it up warm up the garage then turn it off at the end of last year i noticed it would flare up or go out and when i say flare up like put off 12” flame. Could this be a regulator issue or the heater is just no good anymore.

Default propane heater

When propane burns efficiently, it's predominantly blue with specks of yellow. If your flame is yellow or orange and accompanied by poor heating performance, there are impurities in the pilot tube, burners or gas line. This could also cause flare ups. Clean the pilot tube and burner orifices by flushing the tubes with compressed air.
