Default YYC Chapel Knife Sale has now officially come to an end

Rumor: the YYC Chapel and their sales were coming to an end.

Fact: as of today, the volunteers helping the YYC Chapel have all turned in their access card, ID and keys.....This includes me.....

The era of monthly sales as you know it, has come to an end.

I want to take this time to thank everyone here on AO who supported the sale, including the moderators. A lot of great deals were had and friendships have been developed over the years.

I have been on the ground floor since September 2001....yes 10 days after September 11 2001......19 years.

It is people like you who supported the sale that allowed the YYC Chaplin and his team to reach out further into the community.

I can't thank you enough,

Oh no! I was just thinking that I needed to get around there and replenish my supply of box cutters!

Thanks for your efforts. I picked up some good deals there, and I was amazed at some of the things people tried to take on as carry on. Heck, I even got a 2" hitch with a ball from the sale!

It was very nice dealing with you, you definitely went above and beyond to help.

Thanks for your service! I only went once, way too many people but I enjoyed it and bought lots of stuff.

I wonder what’s going to be happening to the stuff now?

Never made it to one, but it was sure on my list. Work always seemed to get in the way. Had plans to attend when you re-started. Sure seems like a lot of volunteer effort on your part. Thanks for all the time & effort spent!!

I'm curious here. I've seen lots of bins of knives for sale at gun shows, over the years, that looked like they might have come from you. did you sell them there as well ? Some neat stuff at very reasonable prices.

Always a pleasure Ken. Just think of how much money I am going to save by not bringing the boss along "just to look"
