It's amazing how much the pine beetle has killed. The fire danger rating should be climbing back up to extreme in a few days. This is the second summer that I've had the truck packed with evacuation gear.

Pretty close. High 170's for sure. Thinner once the velvet comes off. Another year or two.…

I drew an antlered mule deer tag this year and this thread is getting me pumped up .. haven’t shot a nice mule deer since I was a kid so I’m looking forward to it

Out for the sheep opener on the weekend and I came across a bachelor group of muley bucks up in the high country. This was the biggest and oldest of the group. Any guesses of what he would score or age? Either way wish I could make it out on the 17th!

Wow that’s a dandy alright .. not the greatest at judging mule deer but I’m guessing around 185 quite easily ..
