Canadian tire Camo sale. CHEAP BIBS!!
Hey guys/gals, just thought I’d let you know that Canadian tire has the Yukon gear insulated bibs on sale for $29.99!!! The regular price on them is around $100.00! They have them in snow camo, and mossy oak shadow grass, or one of the other duck hunting patterns. I’m not positive? I did end up buying a pair. At that price I couldn’t turn them down. This was at the store in Leduc. They had mostly size 2XL, and medium, on the display rack, but might have more sizes.

Couldn’t find them at that price in Sherwood Park and haven’t had a good experience with that location price matching.

Unfortunately these are listed as discontinued at all the CT Edm stores I tried so the CT app will not tell you which store and how many they have in stock. Thought I might savea drive with idiots for no good reason.

The Yukon Gear Jackets where on for $89 but too few pockets, and not very heavy insulation. The hood was not insulated either, and no inside pockets.
Discounted from $159 so not the mega deal, and not a mega jacket either.
The Snow Camo jackets were quite a bit better insulation in the body and hood but they are not on clearance, yet.

The Leduc store had the 3 in 1 snow camo parkas on sale as well. Can’t remember what they wanted. $79 or $89.

I have a top quality set of U.S. made Walls: lightly used bibs and Jacket, reversible, snow camo in XL on the buy/sell if anyone is interested. Half of what they were new. $250 or reasonable offers.

I have one of these jackets and I honestly thought the same thing when I got it for a gift but I found it to be much warmer than I expected. Have only used it a couple times however, but no complaints.

My laptop is set by default to Peace River store, so when I clicked the link above it showed that they have 1 pair in stock on clearance for $19.99. My only concern was that the last pair was medium in size and I am 6'2". I bought it online with in-store pick up right there anyway, figuring I would just return them or give them to someone smaller. Well, I finally picked up the order today and even though I could use another 1/2-inch in chest, it was a great purchase for $21 (including the GST).
P.S. this is my third piece of camo clothing by the way, including a long-sleeve t-shirt in military woodland pattern I bought for $5 (I think) years ago in Bass Pro (I think) and a baseball hat in universal camo pattern I bought in a dollar store (for $4) a couple of years ago. Lol.

Not sure if they still have them now, but I saw a few pairs of these at the Leduc store about a week or so ago. They were in a grassy camo pattern, like a waterfowl type pattern. Still on for $29.99! Have no idea what sizes they were, I already have a pair, so I didn’t look!

$13 Billion Canadian Investment in Proposed Lithium Battery Plant
The whole idea of making EV Batteries from the raw resource of Lithium extracted in Canada is the hopes of a value added benefit from the development of the end product.
The reality is that Canada controls the raw resource that is needed by end users, and it is hoped that this technology of a lithium EV battery will be the future EV battery technology for generations to come.
So if Canada has the monopoly on the strategic mineral, do we really need to give subsidies? The reality of a monopoly is that you can make whatever demands you wish for the end user to receive the commodity, including technological development and manufacture of the end product.
When you consider that Multi National Corporations will take their business where they get the biggest return on investment with the most security, subsidizing a manufacturer really is needlessly enticing the manufacturer where you can tie the manufacturing to receiving the commodity in the first place.
A recent example of the consequences of a failed Subsidy cloaked as a loan is the investment in the Bombardier C100 development by the Canada Pension Plan and Quebec Pension Plan. Billions were lost.
Now the bet is $13 Billion, on an uncertain technology where Canada could lose everything if a different commodity proves to be the EV battery of the future, and the new battery technology is manufactured elsewhere.
Remember that as you file and pay your Income Tax Return today.
